Greetings from Kanpur, We all see paediatric population on our day to day orthopaedic practice, and this sub speciality has seen a major breakthorugh in last few decades and is evolving rapidly, however in this part of country there is still much work and learning needed, as far as paediatric orthopaedics is concerned. This First KANPUR Basic Paediatric Orthopaedic Course 2022 organised by KOA, under the aegis of UPOA

in Association with POSUP aim to lay the foundation stone in this direction. The Faculty members are masters in the sub speciality and are internationally recognised experts in field of Paediatric Orthopaedics and have been selected for their knowledge, experience and contribution relating to the subject matter they present.

 

WHY TO ATTEND:

Objective of course are, upon completion of this course the participants will:

  • Have a clear idea of Ponseti technique some tips and tricks as well as decision making for club foot relapse.

  • Have some practical overview and decision making as far as brachial plexus birth palsy is concerned so as to guide the parents of such children accordingly.

  • Diagnose and manage DDH in early infancy as well as have a clear overview of options in those coming to us in walking age.

  • Have some clarification of managment options in different stages and age groups of children with Perthes disease.

  • Have clear idea of importance of aggressive approach in paediatric bone and joint infections and learn some new techniques as well as importance of canal decompression.

  • Have their doubts clear about some controversies in paediatric trauma management and learn some innovative reduction techniques and surgical techniques.
